DJM - 5 Mo 4 weeks - First Swim Lesson
Declan's first swim lesson. Declan joined his big sisters at Aqua Wave and is learning how to swim! He loved it! He is so calm and mellow in the lesson, just hanging out and going with the flow. Fiona was thrilled to have him (and Mom) in the pool. Moira couldn't figure out how she could move her lesson to be the same as Declan's and finally gave up and decided she'd just have her lesson with Miss. Marla and would hang out with Declan later. All in all we had a great time and can't wait for next Monday.

FAM - 3 yrs 10 months - Tall Dinosaur
As Fiona's new best friend has become her favorite "person" in the world, I wanted to document it. Ryan asked her if she had her "share item" when they were getting ready for school. Her reply was yes, I'm taking my Tall Dinosaur. Ryan's reply was "Where is it?" Fiona bestows upon him that "Boy you're stupid" look and points to the air next to her and says right here.
She then politely lets Tall Dinosaur get in the car first. When you ask her what Tall Dinosaur's name is, she bestows that same look again and tells you Tall Dinosaur.
For other kids it is imaginary friends, for Fiona it is imaginary crocodiles and dinosaurs. She will always blaze her own path.

DJM - 5 1/2 Months - Solid Food
Well Declan is now 5 and a half months (the half being very important) and had his first "solids". Thinned down cereal, so as to really be liquid, BUT served with a spoon! He did great the first day, and has refused it every day since. It is really cute to watch actually. He's just as happy as always, and will happily spit back out anything that enters his mouth via spoon. It has been a messy blast.
